About Christie
I spent over a decade working as a makeup artist in the editorial world—collaborating with brands like Reebok, New Balance, and the NFL, creating for magazines, and working alongside artists, athletes, and creatives at the top of their fields. My job was to see details, shape beauty, and contribute to a larger visual story.
But eventually, I felt a pull to create my own.
What began as curiosity behind the lens quickly became something deeper. Photography gave me the freedom to lead the vision. To set the tone. To craft work that felt less reactive and more intentional. I opened my studio to offer a different kind of portrait experience—one that merges the clean aesthetic of editorial photography with the depth and presence of fine art.
Today, I work with women who want portraits that are striking, minimal, and built to last. I don’t chase trends or heavy narratives. I’m interested in clarity—of light, of form, of expression. My sessions are hands-on and high-energy. I direct with purpose, style with intention, and bring a fast-moving, focused momentum to the experience. We work together to create something that reflects your presence in a way that feels elevated, but never forced.
Outside of the studio, I homeschool my three children—yes, it’s a lot, and yes, I love it. I’ve lived in Uganda. I drink too much coffee. I speak openly about mental health and the complexity of being human. And I still believe the best portraits come from a place of honest, mutual trust.
“You are the most supportive, safe, empathetic, loving photographer I’ve ever shot with. It helps you’re a woman but it also helps you’ve worn so many hats in the industry for so long. You know the beauty in our souls and you make it come out with the beauty that’s in yours. You are magic and anyone in front of your lens becomes magic too.”
“I wanted to take a minute to say thank you for making me feel so comfortable. I can’t believe I was fully naked! I felt you were truly yourself, no gimmicks just real no BS and that made me feel at ease.”
I'm the one you’ll hear from when you inquire, the one guiding you through every step, and the one behind the camera on shoot day. If you’re ready to get started—or simply have questions—I’d be glad to connect.
This is a personal experience, and it deserves to be handled with care and intention. I’m here to lead, direct, and create something striking, start to finish.
